Piattis is one of Cherry Creeks oldest restaurants, it has been consistantly good with a menu that keeps up with the times. Denver Single professionals find this a great place to meet for a date.
I’ve spent a lot of time in the bar during happy hour, great for meeting other single professionals in Denver. It’s got a great happy hour menu although my favorite dish with House-Made Spinach & Ricotta Ravioli, Lemon Cream & Citrus Gremolata has been moved back to the main menu.
A Great Place for Single Professionals in Denver
The restaurant is popular so I would make a reservation on any given night, especially if you have a date or in a group with 4 or more friends.
The portions are generous and the food is both fresh and delectable. The prices are reasonable, as most dishes range between $15 to $25. The atmosphere is warm and friendly with attention to all the details.
The menu/meals are great from start to finish. You are started off with a balsamic garlic dipping sauce for bread and that is very delightful. It gets better from there. Presentation is excellent and it just gets better, the dishes are just as good as they look. Quality ingredients are fresh and really shined through the dishes-most places have to overseason it to get it to taste this good, but not Piatti. Finished the meal off with dessert (lime raspberry tart.) PERFECTLY made. The lime was citris but sweet as the raspberry sauce was a tart compliment to the creaminess of the tart. It was light and not heavy or overbearing. Wonderful.
Let me touch on a few highlights, starting with the seafood linguine pescatore. The sauce is so good, you almost want to pass on the rest of the dish, but don’t, the fish was cooked perfectly, flaky and easily falls apart. Not overly cooked which is easy to do with something like a pescatore that has more stew/sauce. Same for the calamari, easy to overcook and often rubbery in other restaurants, but it was PERFECT. And the best for last….those clams…..ohhhh I cant even explain to you how good they were…but I’ll try. they were so tender steamed to perfection and were so incredibly sweet! orgasmic! And not one was grainy….. but anyways…. those clams tasted amazing…but most importantly I think those clams were cooked better than any other restaurant I’ve been to. As you can taste when a clam is over steamed or cooked as the some parts are firmer than others.
Very Accomodating for a Group of Single Professionals in Denver
Piattis has always been very accommodating to DINNER FOR SIX and our groups, and we almost always get seated within five minutes of our reservations even when we have two groups of six. Our group of Denver single professionals never have to wait very long.
Before forget the atmosphere is delightful with a classy feel and not snobby one bit, single professionals of Denver will feel comfortable and relaxed. For this level of service and food, I’m surprised at the price point because at prices like this, its not often I’ve been to a comparable Italian restaurant in Denver and this says alot coming from someone like me, but it ties is my favorite restaurant Italian restaurant, and it sure beats driving to Napa.
