COLORADO VOLUNTEER/CHARITY OPPORTUNITIES

Diana Price Fish Foundation: (Denver) The Diana Price Fish Foundation is a Colorado nonprofit organization devoted to helping people enjoy life during a time when cancer makes it difficult.  DPFF sponsors "Late Night" parties for singles.

Volunteer Opportunity:  Volunteer to help feed several thousand homeless Denver people on Monday afternoons at the Grant Avenue Street Reach from 3 pm to 6 pm or any part of that time you can spare. Grant Avenue Street Reach operates in the basement (enter via the alleyway) of the First Baptist Church at Grant Avenue and 14th downtown (across the street from the state capitol building). Wear old but cool clothes because it gets warm and crowded. Just go to the basement kitchen and introduce yourself.

Volunteer Opportunities: Whiz Kids tutoring needs you! It's not too late to get involved with our exciting tutoring and mentoring ministry with inner-city kids. Training, supplies and great kids are provided.

Volunteer Opportunities: Some of you may have heard me talk about the National Sports Center for the Disabled (NSCD), located in Winter Park. Its a non-profit organization that provides recreation and competitive opportunities to children and adults with disabilities from Colorado as well as throughout the nation and around the world. Winter activities include

alpine and Nordic skiing, snowboarding, snow shoeing, and hut trips. In addition, it is one of the few programs where individuals with different types of disabilities have the opportunity to participate in many different sports.
