The Choice for the Single Professional THE
DENVER
POST
THE DISH
Bill Husted Tired of eating alone? Denver has two dining clubs for singles: Dinner For Six and The Single Gourmet. Robert Denison started Dinner For Six in August 1994, membership has grown to more than 400. Several times each week, six people meet at an assigned restaurant and dine. It's all separate checks and Denison is quick to point out that Dinner For Six is NOT a dating service. "Dating services take more skill than I have," he joked at Vesta Dipping Grill last week. "I'm not a matchmaker. We sort members by ages and interests and let them discover who they are." Dinner For Six's restaurant list includes 1515 Market, Bruno's, 240 Union, Deluxe Grill, Solera, Table 6, Duo, Parallel 17, Dazzle, Domo's, Deja Vu, Le Chine, Little Saigon, Oceannire, Mel's, Gabriel's, Strings, Yia Yia's, - some of the best joints in town. Membership is $595 for 14 months. Call 303-777-0700. Editor's note: The Single Gourmet closed after a year.
